A meat thief from West Molesey had been ordered to complete community service after admitting stealing from Sainsbury’s.
Iqbal Miah, of Chandlers Court, was caught stealing £93.92 worth of meat from the Kingston Sainsbury’s, Richmond Road, on January 21.
Miah, 29, was sentenced to complete 200 hours of unpaid work when he appeared in front of Kingston Magistrates’ Court on Friday, February 20.
Magistrates ordered no compensation to be given to the store as the meat was recovered.
