Bus strike planned today

Commuters have been warned to brace for bus strikes starting today.

Members of the Unite Union who operate First London buses have announced potential strike action to take place from 3am today until Saturday morning.

Buses expected to be affected include the numbers 28, 295, N10, N28 and N31.

Services may be reduced or suspended.

PLease tell your neighbours about this strike many OAPS could be left stranded at bus stops b ecause the bus company wont put notices on the bustops to inform poeople.thank you

PLease this coming winter can you check on elderley neighbours many will suffer due to increase in f uel bills many are to proud to ask for help so please look out for them.THank you

They won't have to worry about fuel bills, because they will receive their £200 fuel allowance.

There are many advantages. Free travel on buses, trains, trams, tubes. Discounts on cinema, theatre and concert tickets, etc. etc.

What a lot of dreary so-and-sos! I'm 92 and what I would give to be a little bit younger. What are free bus and transport rides compared to walking with the wind in your hair and a young love beside you. Although, reading these posts I doubt if any of you ever walk, probably stagger along eating takeaways or suckling bottles. Looking around, I see the streets filled with grey people old before their time, not like Paris or New York. Never mind, one thing we can't change is the march of time, and pension day will soon roll along.
