THE trust which manages Bexley's sports and swimming centres has failed to get Bexley Council into court over its future leisure plans.
Leisure Link has a contract with Bexley to manage the facilities until 2006.
But the council is currently choosing a company which will build and manage the new facilities it plans to build before Leisure Link's contract ends.
The situation is complicated by the fact Leisure Link is also part of a company which is bidding for the new contract.
The High Court threw out Leisure Link's challenge, saying there were no grounds to proceed.
The trust has until tomorrow to decide whether or not to appeal against the High Court ruling.
No one from Leisure Link was available for comment as the News Shopper went to press.
