WITH holders Cononley having moved up to the Wynn Cup, on account of them being promoted from Division Three to Division Two of the Timothy Taylor’s Craven League, the focus on this year’s Cowling Cup switches to 2023 runners-up Hepworth & Idle II.

They are at home to one of last season’s semi-finalists, Cowling II, in their first group game on Saturday, May 4, but the Westfield Laners must then ‘get on their bikes’ for three away fixtures - against Menston V, Wilsden II and Long Lee II.

Cowling II also face Menston V, at home, and finish with a double header at home against Bingley Congs III, who also reached finals day last season.

Congs thirds also face Wilsden II and Cowling II, and have matches at home to Bradley II and at Ingrow II.

Meanwhile, Keighley III are again playing all four of their matches away from home due to not having a permanent home ground on Saturdays.

The finals day is at Hepworth & Idle on Sunday, August 18, and their second XI must have a good chance of being involved on home soil.

Cowling Cup entrants: Bingley Congs III, Bradley II, Cowling II, Hepworth & Idle II, Ingrow II, Keighley III, Long Lee II, Menston V, Wilsden II.
