A student teacher who was just about to start her new career has been killed in a car crash.
Claire Cordon, a student at St Mary's University College, Twickenham, had been travelling to Glastonbury with fiancé Richard Paterson and Kingston University student Gemma Parker, when the accident happened last Wednesday.
“Prayers were said for Claire as soon as we heard the news and we can only assure her family, friends and loved ones of our thoughts and deepest sympathy at this extraordinarily difficult time."

The 26-year-old from Epsom died after she lost control of the blue Peugeot she was driving west on the A303 at Charnage Hill near Mere at 9.10am.
The Peugeot struck a HGV in front of it, then spun across the road and was hit by another HGV travelling up the hill.
Ms Cordon was trapped temporarily but was freed by firefighters and airlifted to Salisbury District Hospital.
She received emergency care at the hospital but died shortly afterwards.
Mr Paterson is currently in intensive care but his condition is said to be improving while Ms Parker has been released from hospital.
Ms Cordon had been due to start her teaching career at Heathside School, Weybridge yesterday.
She and Mr Paterson had been due to get married in August and had just purchased their first home in Epsom.
A spokesman for St Mary's University College said: "Prayers were said for Claire as soon as we heard the news and we can only assure her family, friends and loved ones of our thoughts and deepest sympathy at this extraordinarily difficult time."
