A man guilty of possessing child porn and selling obscene DVDs had his jail sentence halved this morning.
Christopher Gow, of Bridge Road, Chessington, was jailed for 15 months at Kingston Crown Court in August.
But his lawyer appeared at the Court of Appeal this morning to appeal the length of sentence.
Judges agreed that, in comparison with sentencing in similar cases, Gow's sentence had been too severe.
Mrs Justice Dobbs said: "We agree with counsel for the reasons submitted that the sentence was too long."
Gow will now serve a sentence of nine months, and is likely to be released before Christmas this year.
