If you fancy sampling some of the best organic and ethical produce in the borough, make your way to Kingston's Healthy Harvest Fayre on September 22 in the Market Place between 9am and 4pm, as part of Kingston First's Food Fortnight.
The fayre is being held to encourage sustainability, reconnect people with their food roots and show support for the Fairtrade industry.
Among the small businesses and organisations taking part is Kingston's award-winning Riverside Vegetaria, recognised by the Vegetarian Society in 2002 as Britain's best vegetarian restaurant.
The Raj restaurant in Surbiton will be providing a taste of its organic Indian food, and Fruiti Boost will also be offering a wide range of its Fairtrade vegetable and fruit juices.
To add colour and variety to the fayre, there will also be several Fairtrade craft stalls to browse and a large herbal display from nursery Herbal Haven which grows more than 150 varieties of herbs in an environmentally friendly manner.
