The Albert Arms on High Street in Esher reopens today after extensive refurbishment, creating 26 new jobs for the local community.

The Esher pub, which was closed since 2016, has three new upstairs dining rooms, a revamped menu and a décor inspired by Park Racecourse and a new menu.

Dan Arrow, general manager of the Albert Arms said: “The Albert Arms is a great pub in a superb location, just a 10-minute walk from Sandown Park.

“My team and I aim to offer a warm and welcoming environment whether you are popping in for a quick pint, coming for a romantic dinner, or looking to hold a family celebration.

“With the six bedrooms too, I hope that we will soon build up a regular stream of racegoers who will keep coming back for more of The Albert Arms’ experience.”
