The Bentall Centre in Kingston is hosting a magical mermaid party to celebrate the release of the new Little Mermaid film and to raise money for the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

The event will run from 11am-5pm on Saturday, August 25, so there will be plenty of time to bring the children along to spend time with Ariel.

There will be loads of fun activities including a magical scene with costumes so they can dress up, a throne for amazing photos, as well as arts and crafts to take home their very own Flounder.

Oonagh Goodman, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Rainbow Trust, said: “ Money raised from the event will enable families with a seriously ill child to make the most of the precious time they have together.”

Ariel’s Beauty Area will be perfect for mini mermen and mermaids to get colourful, glittery faces and a dance area to teach little ones how to walk and dance like mermaids.

Supporting Surrey-based children’s charity Rainbow Trust volunteers around the centre will be accepting donations and raising money to help families with a seriously ill child.

The charity provides emotional and practical support by pairing families with an expert Family Support Worker who supports the family at home, hospital and in the community for as long as needed.
