Kingston saw a sharp increase in violent crime this year, according to data from the Met Police.
While violent crime has risen in every part of the capital, Kingston-Upon-Thames experienced one of the biggest increases.
The town saw the fourth-biggest increase in violent crime (10.98 percent), behind Redbridge, Harrow and Richmond-Upon-Thames.
The Met Police data catalogued the number of violence against a person crimes compared with last year.
These include assault with injury, common assault, harassment, murder, possession of an offensive weapon, other violence and wounding/grievous bodily harm.
Richmond-Upon-Thames experienced the biggest increase in London (12.85 percent), followed by Harrow (11.05 percent), and Redbridge (10.99 percent).
The London borough with the smallest increase in violent crime in the past year was Lambeth (0.48 percent).
