An Addlestone man who first raped an eight-year-old when he was just 13 jailed.

Jason Hill, 47, of Beech Grove was sentenced at Kingston Crown Court on July 13 to 17 years behind bars for sexual offences carried out against a child during the 1980’s (when Hill was a teenager) and a more recent rape against another woman.

Hill began offending when he was 13 years old - preying on an eight year old girl.

He raped and assaulted the girl on a number of occasions until the victim was 15 (and he was 19). He also raped a second woman in 2011.

Detective Constable Lisa Larkin, who investigated this case, said: “This man was a dangerous sexually-driven predator.

"He would force himself on his victims, giving them nowhere to turn.

"They would be made to feel like they can’t talk about or report their experiences out of fear.

“The victims have held on to their horrible experiences for a long period of time, which has had a big impact on their happiness in their personal lives.

“No one should ever go through what these two women have been through and I hope this sentence proves just how serious the police and the courts take these types of offences.”

Hill was found guilty of five offences, including two counts of rape, and three counts of indecent assault at Kingston Crown Court.

He has also been placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and is barred from working with children.

Detective Chief Inspector Wendy Whiting said:

“This was a long, complicated investigation only made possible by the bravery of the two victims and the passionate tenacious pursuit of the truth by our detectives.

"I only hope the victims can now move forward with their lives.

“We want everyone to know that if a serious offence like this has happened to you, at any point in your life, that you can report it. We take reports of this nature very seriously and will investigate thoroughly.”
