Surrey Wildlife Trust will be running summer activities in nature for children in Leatherhead.

The Wild Explorers Holiday Club will run from Monday to Thursday during the first three weeks in August at the Nower Wood Educational Nature Reserve on Mill Way.

Charlotte Magowan, marketing and communications manager at Surrey Wildlife Trust, said: “Here at the Surrey Wildlife Trust we just love to have fun in the woods getting up close to nature and wildlife.

“It is these summer holiday Gerald Durrell moments that create wonderful happy memories from childhood and inspire kids to have a lifelong passion for nature.”

Young explorers will get a chance to learn about the types of trees at Nower Wood, make cave paintings and roman pottery, cook by campfire, swim in ponds and learn about orienteering.
