Monster Raving Loony Party candidate for Chessington North and Hook, Chinners
The Monster Raving Loony Party candidate in the Kingston local elections has arranged his “victory celebrations” for the night before votes open.
Chinners Chinnery, who is standing in the Chessington North and Hook ward, and his supporters will be going to the Cricketers pub in Clayton Road, Chessington on Wednesday, May 2.
The aptly named band Jump the Gun has been booked to play.
Chinners will surely be hoping revellers are not too tired the next day to vote.
“Victory parties” will also be held for the Monster Raving Loony candidates in the Walton North and Molesey East wards (named Badger and Monkey the Drummer respectively), at The Oak pub in West Molesey on Thursday, May 3.
