A mobile app being used at Kingston Hospital’s physiotherapy department is making patients’ rehab programmes much less hectic.
Patients will now have the option to view their exercise programmes from on the Physio Tools app.
Those using the app will be able to view pictures of the exercises and they will also be able to see a video of the exercises, making it easier to follow.
With the app you can set reminders and log the number of exercises completed- it is hoped this will encourage patients to routinely do their exercises.
Nicola Penfold, physiotherapist at Kingston Hospital said: “Feedback from patients has been really positive, with life being hectic it helps our patients access their rehab programme on the go.”
