A youngster has been rewarded for his volunteer work with Kingston's Racial Equality Council.
Yusuf Rafiq, nine, was presented with a ball by director John Azah at the annual cricket match bewteen Kingston Council and Kingston Racial Equality Council (KREC) at Victoria Ground, Surbiton.
Among Yusuf's voluntary work, was helping distribute leaflets at Kingston's Green Fair.
Director of KREC, John Azah, said: "This was a token of our appreciation and a gesture to publicise how important young people's participation is."
