Police believe two people may have been involved in an attack on a man who was stabbed several times in a fast-food restaurant yesterday (October 17).
The incident happened at about 5.40pm in Subway on the Broadway, Tolworth and the victim was taken from the scene to a major trauma centre.
No one has been arrested.
A spokeswoman for the Met Police said: “A man, believed to be in his 30s, was found at the scene with several stab wounds.
“He was taken to a south London hospital.
“We await an update on his condition.
“It is believed at this early stage that there were two attackers who have not yet been traced.”
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We treated a man for stab wounds and took him as a priority to a major trauma centre.”
Subway is open for business today.
