Families wondering how to amuse the children during the summer break can find out about the activities available at a series of Kingston Council road shows.

The road shows will include a bouncy castle and face-painting for children as well as sports taster sessions.

Each day will have a prize draw with the chance to win a day trip for the whole family to a London attraction of their choice, such as the London Eye.

The road shows run between 2pm and 6pm in the week commencing July 23 at a number of locations.

The first is on Tuesday, July 24, in Sheephouse Way, on the green near the Hogsmill River.

On Wednesday, July 25, the road show comes to Kingsnympton Park, at the top of Crescent Road.

Then on Thursday, July 26, it is at Alexandra Recreation Ground, near Tolworth Broadway, before heading to Churchfields Recreation Ground in Compton Crescent, Chessington, on Friday, July 27.
