Detectives investigating the murder of a young woman who was found dead in Kingston have charged two men.
Officers believe they know the identity of the deceased who was found dead on Wednesday, July 19.
A post-mortem examination carried out on Friday, July 21, gave cause of death as an incised wound to the neck.
Formal identification will be arranged in due course.
Police said a second woman is being supported by a specialist officer from within Specialist Crime and Operations.
A 33-year-old man who was arrested at an address in Kent will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today, Monday 24 July, charged with the murder, rape and kidnap of a young woman.
He is further charged with the rape, attempted murder and kidnap of a second woman.
A 28-year-old man who was arrested after a vehicle was stopped by police in New Malden will also appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today. He is charged with the kidnap of both the two women.
A 29-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She was released under investigation on Thursday, 20 July.
