On June 1st 2014, our Patron Sir Paul Beresford of The Queen's Regiment Memorial Woodland in Holmbury St Mary, unveiled the Monument to the Fallen.

The charity has gone from strength to strength and celebrates its 3rd Anniversary on Sunday 4th June.
We have had the honour of being asked by the family of the late Colonel Beveridge to have a commemoration service and planting of a tree by his family (grandchildren and other family coming from USA and Spain).

We have also been asked to commemorate and plant a tree for two others whose families will also be attending on 4th June.  There will be approximately 50 people attending from The Chichester Branch of The Queen's Regimental Association plus an anticipated two other family groups and approximately 100 plus ex-Queensmen.

We have a full programme commencing at 12.30 when the Chairman will welcome all. The Queen's Walkers who will have walked 73 miles from Bassingborne Barracks to the Woodland arriving at 1pm. A 16 piece Corp of Drums will play them into the woodland to the tune of Soldiers of the Queen and then the bugler will summon the Standard Bearers the band and all to The Garden of Remembrance for the Commemoration service and planting of trees.

It is an immense honour for Holmbury St Mary to have been chosen to commemorate The Colonel of 3rd Queen's Bn/Deputy Colonel of the Regiment Colonel Beveridge, C/Sgt Drum Major Dumbleton who was Queen's 3rd Bn, Fusiliers and Royal Anglian and Pte Nicholas White who was Queensman killed by the IRA in 1976.
