A four-month-old baby has died after becoming unwell at an address in Tolworth Broadway yesterday.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended and the boy was taken to a south London hospital.

He was pronounced dead at around 8.50am on April 10.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “At this early stage, the death is being treated as unexplained pending a post-mortem examination.

As is standard procedure in any child fatality, officers from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command have been informed and are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the death.

No arrests have been made and next of kin are aware.
