A New Malden paedophile who walked free after a perverted “strip Twister” game with children has been jailed for four years after reoffending – including inciting a 13 year-old girl into sexual activity.

Kevin Hollingshead, 54, was convicted of 16 counts against underage girls at Kingston Crown Court on Tuesday, February, 14.

These included intentionally causing or inciting a girl under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity, making and distributing indecent photographs of a child and communicating knowingly with a person under 16 on the internet.

In 2014, Hollingshead was spared jail for trying persuade children to play “strip Twister”, with the judge arguing a custodial sentence would make it more likely of reoffending.

His defence counsel told the court that Hollingshead was “very sorry” and would never repeat such actions.

Hollingshead has now been jailed for four years.

A spokesman for children’s protection charity NSPCC said: “Hollingshead’s campaign of abuse will have had devastating effects on his young victims.

“By forcing them to engage in these shocking crimes he has taken advantage of their vulnerability and with every click online he has helped to fuel a vile trade in indecent images.

“Hollingshead is rightly behind bars and it’s now important that his victims receive all possible support to rebuild their lives.”

Hollingshead was caught with 600 indecent images of children in his home in 2014 but was spared jail.

In 2014, Hollingshead was caught with images of the “most extreme kind”, including a woman giving oral sex to a horse and a woman having sex with a dog.

Hollingshead, of Portland Avenue, New Malden, was found to have breached his 24-month suspended sentence in reoffending.
