TV’s famous charismatic doctor Christian Jessen visited Kingston Grammar School for a unique sexual education conference.

The health campaigner, best known for exposing people’s most unusual illnesses and defects on Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies, was a special guest at the school’s SRE for Generation Z conference on Wednesday, November 30.

Mr Jessen gave a talk advocating better education schools to sixth form pupils and parents from across the borough.

Headmaster Stephen Lehec said: “As teachers, we know that high quality SRE is essential to pupils’ personal development and welfare and is a crucial part of preparing young people for happy and healthy lives.

"Kingston Grammar School will continue to promote and support up-to-date and age-appropriate SRE for all children, not just those here.”

The conference was aimed at primary and secondary schools to highlight the current issues facing sexual education, particularly with regards to consent, sexual health, the role of the internet and keeping children safe.
