Two men poured acid onto a bus stop seat that melted through a woman’s clothes and burned her skin.

The men got on a bus in Kingston at about 1.50am on Thursday, April 28, and began fiddling with a plastic bag and a bottle before getting off at a stop in Hounslow Road, TW13.

They took something out of a blue plastic bag before leaving the area before a woman sat down on the bus stop seat.

A sticky substance burned through her clothes and onto her skin, and she was taken to hospital to be treated for burns.

Police found burn marks on the fabric of the bus seats and the floor around where the men had been sitting on the bus.

One of the men has been interviewed but police want to speak with the second, a white male aged about 40 who was carrying the plastic bag.

He was wearing a dark blue coat, blue jeans and white trainers.
