Traffic is flowing freely after a four-lorry crash on the M25 caused 16 miles of queuing traffic around Leatherhead this morning.
Fuel and debris had been spread across the motorway after the crash at about 6am.
The crash happened near junction 9 of the M25 clockwise, and had caused delays as far back as junction 5 (Sevenoaks).
Traffic flow was restricted to one lane until 8.45am.
Highways England had advised motorists to allow extra time to complete journeys if travelling in this direction.
