An unidentified man collapsed and died in a Wandsworth street.

The man, thought to be aged between 30 and 40, was found in Gideon Street on the evening of Sunday, April 10, and died several days later in a west London hospital.

He did not have any identifying documents on him and police are appealing for information regarding his identity and next of kin.

The man is of medium build, with long, curly brown hair and a full beard.

He is known to have travelled by train between Clapham Junction and Malden Manor, Kingston.

Police believe the man could be from Poland and be known as “Tomasz” but all fingerprint checks carried out in both Poland and the UK have been negative.
