Wandsworth police’s emergency response team tweeted their call-outs to theft and sexual offences in the borough last night.
A man was arrested on suspicion of theft after reports of shoplifting in the Co-operative in Northcote Road.
Later the team tweeted: “Team A arrest male on suspicion of sexual touching within five mins of receiving the call from the victim in Tooting.”
The final tweet of the night was for a driver arrested in Tooting for failing a roadside breath test.
