Train services have been resumed after bits of a roof were blown onto the tracks at Worcester Park station, causing delays between central London and Epsom.

South West Trains confirmed debris on the line at Worcester Park meant delays and alterations between Waterloo, Epsom and Dorking.

But at 9.50am this morning, South West Trains said it has now been cleared and trains are running normally.

A SWT spokesman said: "It appears to be part of a roof tile but that isn't confirmed as yet."

Storm Imogen - which could see winds reach 60mph - has caused disruption to trains across south London, and Surrey Police has asked commuters to watch out for fallen trees and debris.

More to follow.
