A manhunt is on for two men thought to be from Kingston in connection with an acid attack in Southampton.
Brothers Billy Nathan Midmore, 22, and Geoffrey Christopher Midmore, 26, are wanted by police after what has been described as a “targeted assault” by officers.
Billy Midmore, of Sheephouse Way, Old Malden, has previously appeared in court over driving, drug and cash seizure offences.
A 37-year-old woman was attacked during a night out near the Turtle Bay bar in Southampton’s Guildhall Square on Friday, September 18. She was taken to Southampton General Hospital with burns where she remains.
A bar worker told The Mirror: "The acid was in her whole face and eyes - she's probably going to be blinded.
"Her face looked like it was melting; it was quite clear there was a lot of damage.”
Billy has been described as white, 5ft 8in, with blue eyes and a scar on his left arm. He is said to speak with a London accent and is of stocky build.
His brother Geoffrey is white, 5ft 1in with green eyes and a scar on the right side of his face. He is of stocky build and has a tattoo on his hand.
Acting Detective Inspector Will Whale, from Southampton police, said: “They could be in a number of places as they are known to have contacts in Southampton, Basingstoke, London and the south east.
“I would appeal to Billy and Geoffrey to give themselves up now. We will carry on with our manhunt until we find you, so make it easier on yourselves and come forward.
“We consider them to be dangerous individuals and clearly a potential risk to members of the public.”
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Billy Midmore or Geoffrey Midmore or has any information which could assist officers to locate them should call Hampshire Constabulary immediately on 101.
