A woman with one leg is taking on a 10km swim in memory of her twin sons who died at eight-months-old.
Kimberley Bailey, 29, lives in Walton with her boyfriend Stuart and has set herself a challenge to raise money for Bliss.
The charity supports premature babies and provides equipment for neonatal units.
Ms Bailey’s sons, Fraser and Tristan, were born at 25 weeks and after a traumatic delivery she was put on a ventilator for sepsis.
She said: “I have chosen swimming as it is the one sport I can achieve in, despite having multiple physical disabilities including severe scoliosis and an amputated left leg.
“The most I have swam is 5km so this is certainly going to be a challenge.”
