Three neighbours had their gardens "destroyed" after a bonfire became out of control in the early hours of this morning.
Crews from Painshill and Leatherhead fire stations were called to Tilt Road, Cobham, at 2.30am after the flames from the unattended bonfire spread to decking.
The flames also spread to the fence and to decking and fence panels at two neighbouring properties.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the blaze.
A Painshill firefighter said it took two hours to put out the fire and the home owner was given some fire safety advice.
