A 13-year-old director took charge of a play at ACS Cobham School.

Students performed a comedy We Open Tomorrow Night?! to friends, family, teachers and peers.

Performing the play in March in three separate slots over two days, the 46 middle school pupils between 10 to 14, demonstrated their singing, acting and dancing.

Director Keelan Harmer said: "It was a great experience. I enjoyed discussing ideas and creating scenes, whilst also being involve with everything behind the scenes.

"It was fantastic to see the product of all our hard work at the end of it."

The cast was made up of dancers, singers, instrumentalists and actors.

Margaret Prior, middle school drama teacher, said: "The students enjoyed themselves and put 100 per cent into the production. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our students wide ranging talents. The audience was delighted."
