A judo club has raised more than £400 for Shooting Star Chase.
The Tora-Kai Club, based at Xcel Leisure Complex, Walton, gave a donation to the children's hospice, which has hospices in Weybridge and Hampton, as part of a judo demonstration.
The mayor of Elmbridge and the mayoress attended the presentation on Friday, January 24, along with Councillor Mary Sheldon.
Coun Sheldon, portfolio holder for leisure and culture, said: "Elmbridge Council is delighted to be working in partnership with Tora-Kai to provide inclusive judo classes for children with a broad range of additional needs. Congratulations to all the youngsters who have been involved in the competition.
"They have don't a marvellous job raising this money for such a deserving charity as well as giving spectators an interesting insight into the discipline of judo."
