A Christmas carol service complete with festive refreshments helped raise money for Home-Start Elmbridge.
Mayor of Elmbridge Councillor Barry Fairbank held the service at St Mary's Church, Long Ditton, on December 21 to raise £170 for his chosen charity for the mayoral year.
Coun Fairbank gave one of the nine reading and the church choir led the congregation in carol singing.
Coun Fairbank said: "The atmosphere was very festive and the church was well attended for this traditional service.
"St Mary’s Choir was amazing and very much appreciated by everyone. I was proud to be a part of such a lovely evening."
