A driver has been taken to hospital after a crash involving an ambulance and car in Surbiton this morning.
The collision happened just after 9am in Surbiton Hill Road at the junction with Maple Road.
One twitter user tweeted: “Just seen an ambulance get hit by a car at the bottom of Surbiton hill road, outside assembly rooms. Blocked towards kingston.”
The driver of the car was taken to a south London hospital and a member of the public also received minor injuries that did not need hospital treatment.
