Kingston police are appealing for help to find a man they would like to speak to after a clubber was left with a broken jaw in three places.

The 25-year-old victim was punched at McCluskys in Kingston at 2am on Friday, September 12.

The club had been hosting Banquet Records' weekly New Slang night, where rock band Catfish and the Bottlemen had headlined.

The victom did not realise how badly he was injured until the following day, when he found he needed surgery.

Detective Constable Becca Hubbard, from Kingston CID, said: “The victim arrived at the nightclub just after midnight.

"At 2am, he was then punched in the face. Despite extensive enquiries we have not been able to identify the suspect.

We are looking to anyone who may have been in the club on the Thursday night to help us identify him.

“This was a very nasty attack and the force of the punch broke the victim’s jaw in three places.”

The man police would like to speak to in connection with the attack is white, in his early to mid-20s, about 5ft 10in and of a slim build, with short dark hair.

He was wearing a white top on the night.

Anyone with information should call Kingston CID on 020 8721 5897 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
