Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt visited Surrey County Council and discussed the county's bids for £27m to improve flood defences, on Friday, October 17.
Surrey leader, David Hodge, said: "The meeting also presented a good opportunity to tell him first hand about our bids to Whitehall for cash to protect more than 7,500 properties across Surrey."
