The second round of Crime Summits for the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is taking place to get people involved in discussing policing in their community.

Joined by the senior leaders of the borough and the Police Neighbourhood Inspector, the PPC will talk over the work done in the past 12 months.

The public are invited and encourage to have their say on local community safety issues.

Kevin Hurley, PCC, said: "With swingeing budget cuts being made, I have some difficult decisions to make with regards to next year's budget and our share of council tax.

"It is vital that I make these decisions with the public's needs in mind."

The summit will be held on Thursday, September 18, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at the Civic Centre in Esher.
