A bucketful of icy water was dumped over John Terry's head as part of online charity phenomenon - the Ice Bucket Challenge.

John did his bit for charity in the Cobham changing rooms of the Chelsea training ground, after being nominated by Ashley Cole and Stiliyan Petrov.

The Ice Bucket Challenge is an online campaign that is sweeping, and soaking, the globe, with celebrities such as Justin Timberlake and Mark Zuckerberg taking part to raise money for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association and other charities.

After dowsing himself with water and posting the video on Instagram, Terry nominated Frank Lampard, Rafa Nadal and John Obi Mikel.
