Summer family fun is the name of the game at Brooklands Museum, with vintage car rides and World War One commemoration trails all part of activities on offer.

Until August 29, younger visitors can take part in Brooklands Young Photographer Competition, which invites children aged three to 16 to get snapping along the theme Brooklands Engineering.

Vintage car trips will be running up the challenging Test Hill and along the steep Members' Banking of the old race track, weather permitting.

As part of Brooklands' WWI centenary commemorations, a children's trail allows young people to explore the collections and learn more about what people from the Brooklands area did during the war.

Most weekdays will have scheduled trips on an iconic London double-decker bus that will take a 15-minute tour of the area surrounding the museum.

Youngsters and parents will be able to find out more about the past through a series of weekday workshops, with activities ranging from drawing with robots to code breaking.
