Got an unfinished roll of film lying around, or a digital camera you hardly ever use?

The 2014 Surbiton festival - rebranded as The Surbo - gives you the chance to put them to use and maybe even win cash.

This year's festivities include a photo competition around the theme of 'My kinda town', with prizes for amateurs, professionals and younger snappers .

Organiser Bob Noble said: "We're looking for entries from local snaps on mobile phones through to those from top professionals, but the images must capture the essence of living in Surbiton."

Winners in each of three categories will recieve a £150 prize, and top entries will be displayed in the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth Road.

Entries for the photo competition will close on Tuesday, August 26, at 12pm.

The Surbo will run from Saturday, September 20, to Saturday, September 27.
