The Fairfield will be filled with medieval archers, knights and peasants for a day-long pageant based on the Robin Hood legend this weekend.
Kingston Museum has pulled out all the stops for a day celebrating the mythical outlaw, who reportedly robbed the rich and gave to the poor with the help of his Sherwood Forest-dwelling Merry Men.
The day promises to be filled with family fun including two archery displays courtesy of the Medieval Siege Society, a raffle and a spit roast.
There will also be a costume competition, so don your best Lincoln greens and feathered cap and head along.
Learn about the borough's connections to the Nottingham legend and even watch a swordplay display.
