Head to Kingston Museum to hear enthralling tales of high-flying derring-do and more from an expert on the town's aviation history.

David Hassard, from the aviation heritage project, will recount how the Sopwith company, based in the town, played a huge part in the First World War.

The talk is just one in a series of lunchtime lectures hosted by the museum as part of its summer exhibition, showcasing Kingston’s contribution to the war.
