A man has been charged with possession of throwing knives and an air pistol after allegedly beating up a man outside Waitrose.
Kevin Quigley, of Park Road, Kingston, appeared in Wimbledon Magistrates' Court yesterday also charged with physically assaulting a man in his 20s for racial or religious motivations.
The incident took place outside Waitrose in Alexandra Road, Wimbledon at about 10pm on Friday, July 4.
London Ambulance Service did not attend.
Mr Quigley, 31, has been remanded in police custody, to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Monday, July 21.
