The top-10 rankings come from betting company Paddy Power who picked London as the worst offender, with Newton Abbey at number 10 on the list.

Alice Wright, duty manager at The Fountain pub, said: "I think it's a bit strange. We've got a huge England fan base here in New Malden. Even the Korean population supports England."

However, disappointment in the national team's performances in Brazil was widespread, she added.
