Man in court accused of stealing beer, damaging kettle and attacking worker at Sainsburys Surbiton station branch
A man will appear in court this morning charged with assaulting a Sainsburys worker at its Surbiton station store, stealing four cans of lager and damaging a kettle.
Andrew Martin John Thompson, 21, was arrested on Wednesday evening at the Surbiton store and taken away in a police van.
He was due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court this morning facing charges of common assault on Robert Hudson, theft of four cans of Stella Artois worth £4.80 and criminal damage of a kettle.
