A driver was taken to hospital after his car hit a horse in Claygate.
Firefighters were called to Woodstock Lane South on Saturday, June 14 after the collision at about 12.30pm.
The driver, believed to be a man in his 30s, was treated for shock by paramedics and was taken to Kingston Hospital. It is not believed he sustained any major injuries.
The horse was killed.
A crew from Esher fire station were at the scene for about an hour and were called back later in the day to clear debris from the road.
