Three primary schools have applied to Kingston Council to put up additional classrooms.
Coombe Hill School in Coombe Lane West has asked to put up a single-storey classroom on its junior site, to allow 60 more students to join, and its infant school has asked for an extension for bathroom facilities.
Robin Hood Primary School has also applied to put up a single-storey classroom block for 60 pupils, a pedestrian walkway and resurfacing of its ground with Astroturf.
Surbiton’s St Andrew’s and St Mark’s Primary School has applied for a two-storey detached classroom block, a single-storey extension to its main building with a covered walkway to the classroom and a games area.
The Maple Road school has also applied to remove its existing temporary classroom block.
