A Tolworth teenager who faints up to eight times a day has successfully completed a three-mountains challenge.

Megan Taylor, 18, of Cranbourne Avenue, climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Mount Snowdon in Wales, accompanied by a friend, a medic and a mountain guide, in 24 hours last weekend.

She was raising money for Help for Heroes and only fainted three times.

She said: “I feel absolutely amazing. After the second mountain, I fainted three times and the mountain guides were unsure whether I should carry on, but I had a sleep and some food and then I was OK.”

She has raised £800.
