The man who struck Surrey Comet features editor June Sampson with his car last November will appear in court later this month.
Andrew Breeze, 39, of Grove Road, Ilkey, Leeds, is charged with driving without due care and attention.
He will appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, June 24, after his case was adjourned today to allow disclosure of CCTV evidence.
Mrs Sampson spent months recovering in St George's Hospital in Tooting following the accident on November 26.
She finally returned home last month.
This Thursday, she will be conferred with the freedom of the borough at a Kingston Council meeting at the Guildhall - one of her first public appearances since the accident.
