A bus has smashed into a van in a collision this evening in Long Ditton.
The K3 bus suffered a shattered windscreen and heavy damage to its front right side after the crash about an hour ago in Effingham Road, on the borders of Surbiton and Long Ditton.
One unconfirmed report claimed the van flipped over three times.
David Williams who took these pictures of the aftermath initally tweeted: "Serious RTA on Effingham Road Long Ditton.
"K3 bus and van. No one hurt."
He then tweeted: "My wife reports at least one person being taken in an ambulance at 7pm. Crash occurred at 5.45pm."
Mr Williams, a cycling instructor who passed shortly after the crash, told the Surrey Comet the accident had happened at the junction of Effingham Road and Windmill Lane.
He said: "I asked someone if anybody was hurt and they said nobody. Someone said the van had flipped three times.
"They said the driver got out. There's a lot of wreckage on the roads.
"My wife went pash an hour later and saw somebody being taken away in an ambulance from the bus."
A second photograph shows a white Nationwide Repairs van with damage to the middle of its right hand side and roof with its back wheels on a grass verge.
